Description:
Multi-District
4-H judging at Texas A&M University comprises nine different
contests: Livestock Judging, Horse Judging, Entomology Identification,
Pasture Grass Identification, Soil Judging, Wool and Mohair Judging,
Meats Judging and Identification, and Range Evaluation.
Each of
these events is open to multiple districts including Southeast District
9, hence the name: Multi District 4-H Judging.
There
is no limit on the number of teams or individuals a county can
enter. A team consists of either 3 or 4 members.
All
participants must have an Eligibility Form to turn in to the respective
District Contest Coordinator. Participants who are ineligible or do not
have and Eligibility Form will not be allowed to judge. Please think
through how you intend to coordinate this and communicate your plan to
your county delegation.
The
Awards Program for each contest will be conducted at each individual
judging site. The District Office will furnish each contest coordinator
with the necessary awards.
NOTE:
There is no way to determine the exact time for any particular awards
program. This might require you to be flexible in terms of
transportation and making plans to attend any particular awards program.
