2010 Food Challenge Results

Objective:
  • Provide an opportunity for each participant to exhibit their knowledge and skills when preparing and presenting a dish.
  • Provide an opportunity for each participant to learn from other team members and to promote teamwork.
  • Empower youth to participate in a public speaking role.
  • Provide  leadership opportunities for youth.
  • Give 4-H members the opportunity to participate in a new exciting 4-H opportunity.

Schedule:

8:00 am  Check in and supply box check
8:30 am  Orientation
8:45 am  Contest
9:30 am  Interviews
1:00 pm Awards Presentation

Fee:

$10.00 per person

Teams:

3 - 5 person teams



Age Divisions:

  • Junior/Intermediate
  • Senior

Entry Deadline:
Food Challenge team summaries need to be in the District Office no later than December 20, 2009. Entry and payment should be made through 4-H Connect by December 20, 2009.
